Changing radio button export values after responses collected

I have created a form with 5 questions each requiring a response from 1-5. I therefore used radio buttons for these believing that Acrobat would export a different default value depending on the answer given. (this is my first time creating forms).

I was then rather foolish and distributed the form and am receiving the responses now. As I didn't change the default export value from Yes/No, I will only get a 'Yes' in my responses file showing that one of the radio buttons has been selected, but am unable to distinguish exactly which button was selected (and therefore whether the responder answered 1,2,3,4 or 5).

Is it possible to recode the export values for these buttons so that it will automatically export the correct values for the responses that I have already had?

Thanks for your help

Andy

In what form are the responses? FDF, PDF, XFDF, something else?

I'm unsure which filetype the responses are in. The submit form button was automatically created when I distributed the form. I presume it has a default setting?

If not, is there a way I can confirm the filetype?

I see. I'm afraid there's nothing you can do, apart from correcting the fields and redistributing. If the responses were being returned as the complete PDF, you would have some options, but that probably isn't the case.
