I have two check boxes as two options (Flat, Fold). If a user chooses flat, i do not want them to be able to choose fold and visa versa.

Is this possible?

Do you mean that you don't want them to be able to select Flat and Fold at the same time, or once they've chosen one of those two options, they are forever stuck with their initial selection? What about deselecting so that neither is selected after making an initial selection?

If they have selected the Flat, i do not want them to be able to select the fold option. All functionality should remain the same - it they can both be check, unchecked as usual, i just do not want them to be able to be checked at the same time.

All you need to do is give each check box the same name but different export values.
