Combo box values export

in my PDF form developed using Acrobat 8 when the data is exported in XFDF Format , for the combo box items in the form , if the user have not seleted any values the folling appears.

i need that this should appeas as follows .

What i require is that the field should not have any default value as shown above and should have null or no values exported .

where do i make changes for achieving this.

I need to ensure that the empty tags do not get submitted at all . So when no choice is mage by user the tag should not be submitted on Submit Option as using the XFDF Data option.

at present this is working fine for Text Box but does not work for the
" ipr_mode Please Select ... "

the tag does appera even if no selection is made by user. I want this item not to be submitted like a blank text box ie. the value should be set to null by default.

What is the exact code for the submit button, this is where the source of the problem may lay. Because this method has become so complex with additional options and restrictions based on selected parameters, without seeing the code you are using no one will be able to help you.
