Comment Box

If this PDF is not part of a doucment reveiw or the document has not benn secured, you can select the comment and press the delete key. There is more in Acrobat's "Complete Help" under the menu bars 'Help' option.

There aren't any comments posted in the box. Is there a way I can send you the document so you can see what I'm talking about.

If the comment box is the "Comment" pane for the "Navigation" panes, just click on the "x" in the upper right hand corner of the "Comment" pane. Or you can place your mouse on the navigation pannel at the left side of the PDF, click the right mouse button and select the "Hide Navigation Pannel Buttons".

I tried that too I even saved it after I closed the box but it stills comes up when I open the document.

Is this the 'Attachements' pannel and is the PDF set to have an initial view of "Page and Attachments"?

No this is the Comments Panel Toolbar.

Then uncheck the "Comment and Markups" on the tool bar.

I guess that a JavaScript opens the comment panel when opening the doc, it should be document script : Advanced menu > Document processing > Document JavaScripts.If not here it should be a "page open" script : open the page panel > right clic on the 1st thumbnail > Properties > Action;-)
