Copy form fields to multiple forms

Hi there,
 
I have merged a data source into hundreds of Word files from which I have then created hundreds of PDF files.
 
Each one of these files needs to become a fillable form.
 
There will be a lot of form fields on each form but those fields will be in exactly the same place on every one of the documents.
 
I would like to find a way to do this without having to copy the fields and paste them onto each file individually.
 
I also then need to make each file fillable in Adobe Reader.
 
I am using Acrobat 9 Pro.
 
I thought I would ask on here before even starting!
