I have a stack of hard copy survey's that I've created a form for so in the future people can submit these online. I need to enter all this previous data and make charts based on it. What is the best way to do this efficiently as there are hundreds to do? There are 8 questions where each has the choice to: Strongly agree, agree, no opinion, disagree, strongly disagree plus a comment text box. One person I talked to said to set it up in Access, however in the future I'm going to try to rely on sending the surveys out so don't want to waste even more time than I already have with this. I need to be able to quickly data enter each form and have no idea what method to use. Please help and thanks:)
The old forms are a particular problem. Hard copy multiple choice selections do not lend themselves well to the OCR/data scraping process on a PDF. Especially if the selections were filled out by hand. I'm afraid you'll need some specialized software, or cheap labor, to get the data off the forms.
