Hello,

I have a form that I am posting to the web. This form needs to be unsavable and print only. I have all the security set within Acrobat, but my problem is that from the browser you can still do file/SaveAs and it lets you save as pdf. How can I disable the Save As completely? I am using Acrobat 5.

Thaks in advance, shawnash

My Product Information:
Acrobat Standard 5.x or older, Windows

If you make it available for people to view online, there's nothing you can do to prevent them from saving it, apart from some sort of Digital Rights Management solution, which is not what Acrobat offers.

Even with DRM it's impossible - a PDF is a file, so by definition the user has to download and save a copy in order for Acrobat, Reader or anything else to open it. There's no concept of "streaming" as there is with video.
