Distributed forms having error when user clicks submit - ONLY WITH ACROBAT PRO

I have created a form and distributed the form using Acrobat 9.0 PRO. The following error message appears when they click "Submit by email":

Microsoft Office Outlook does not recognize "1.Double Click The Attachment.".

I have managed to work past this, but it seems that the error noted above is inserting something into the "To" line, when it should be inserting something into the body of the message. Subsequently, this is causing issues and will not allow me to compile the pdf forms from my email inbox.

I have recently discovered that this issue only occurs when Acrobat Pro is installed on the computer. I had a user with only Reader try and they had no problems.

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I encountered this same problem yesterday. I created a form with Acrobat Standard 9.4.1 and included a button at the end of the survey to submit the form via e-mail. With Reader, you can click either the button I included or the regular Submit Forms button to submit the form successfully. However, I sent it to one tester who has Acrobat Pro 9 and he got the same error message mentioned by ryanedm. Additionally, he did not see the regular Submit Form button next to the Highlight Fields button.

He was able to complete the form, save it, and return it as an attachment; and I was able to import it into the responses file manually with no problem. So there is a workaround to the problem, but not ideal.

Is there a way to configure the form to "play well" with Acrobat Pro 9?

Barry...

I too do not have the regular Submit Form button next to the Highlight Fields button. I could have the form sent to me and import it as well, but the problem with doing that was that it did not track who the form was from. This can be an issue if this is a detail that you need.

I think it may have something to do with plugins... but I'm really not sure.

Hopefully someone out there will have an answer... PLEASE.

Agree, hope that there is a simple answer to this.

Processing the forms manually for us is not a problem. I had turned off the track names/e-mail addresses option for this survey.
