Do not want pre-filled subject and body in returned form email

I would like to disable, or customize, the text strings which appear in the subject and body of a returned form when you've used the Forms Distribution process in Acrobat Pro.

The subject line text is "Form returned:"

The message body text is:

Form Returned: _pub_0001.pdf

Instructions to add this form to a data set:
1. Double-click the attachment.
2. Acrobat will prompt you to select a data set.

My client is concerned that this text will confuse the form fillers thinking that these instructions are for them.

Any input on this topic is greatly appreciated!

This post seems to answer your question: http://acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=306

Does that help?

In addition to trying the javascript noted above; try this:

1. Do NOT use the form distribution process. Just make a regular submit by email button, using the button tool.

2. In the properties for that button, select Actions, then "Submit a Form" and then, submit entire PDF file (if that's what you want). The email that results should only have the name of the file, but no message in the text box.

Hope this helps....

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
