Version Acrobat 8 Professional

I would like to know a way to duplicate text fields with separate text field names. I feel this is the largest down fall of Acrobat. Looking for any kind of solution that is not manual.

Description:
Say i create a form with 6 columns and 50 rows. I first create the columns and then copy and paste. Then i have to go into the field view to change EACH TEXT FIELD NAME ONE AT A TIME . What a non-efficient solution. There should be a auto rename field that assigns the names in a ascending order when selected in either field view or just by selecting.

Are there any solutions to this problem?

I create forms every day of my life this is what i was hired to do, what a nightmare.

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

If the form is created with Acrobat's form tool and not LiveCycle Designer, highlight the field, use the right mouse button to bring up the context menu for form fields and select the "Place Multiple Fields". Each filed will be uniquely named.

You do not need to rename the fields in LiveCycle Designer because you an either access the aggregate fields or index to a specific field.

Does live cycle require a server?

Adobe has a number of products under "LiveCycle" that provide a large number of diverse services. "LiveCycle Designer" is a form authoring program included with Acrobat Professional and can create forms using XML and uses FormCalc and a variation of JavaScript for perfoming calculations and other automation tasks.

I learned about the multiple forms from an article by Ted Padova, another AUC Expert and columnist for this site.
