Where am I going wrong? I have a PDF form created in Adobe Acrobat 8 pro. The form has fillable fields along with check boxes. I have created the Email submit button to send as an FDF file. I have Enabled Usage Rights in Adobe Reader. I have checked the security settings all is set to no security. I have tried using javascript from a website. I get the error in Reader 7 "this operation is not permitted".
I have seen this question all over the internet and I have even downloaded a test form that will work.

I opened the above form in Adobe Acrobat 8 Pro to check my settings and everything seems to match.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Jeff

You need to set the Email submit button to send as "PDF-The complete document" instead of FDF.
Then enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader.
This should take care of it.

Are you saying that it is no longer possible to send .fdf forms, or are you just offering the "send .pdf form" option as a solution?

To be honest, I really don't know about .fdf, but I do know that by setting the Email submit button to send as "PDF-The complete document" and then enabling Usage Rights in Adobe Reader works.

Does anyone know how to use the Outlook signature field, already created in Outlook, used when sending a PDF file from Acrobat?
