Evening all , I hope someone out there can assist. As youve probably guessed im very new to this and have come up agaist a briock wall.

I have created a form, added an email button, fine but when the email sends it just saves the PDF as the file name , is there any way i can get it to email the form but with the name of two of the fields within the form ?

I am clueless so any help hugely appriciated.

Cheers

No, you have no control over the file name. But if you use the mailDoc JavaScript method, you can reliably set the subject line of the email to whatever you want.

Many thanks for your reply, could you enlighten me a little more on the "mailDoc JavaScript method" or point me in the right direction, I have never used Javascript before.

Here's another topic that shows how you can use this method: http://www.acrobatusers.com/forums/aucbb/viewtopic.php?id=17045

If you'd like more help with setting the subject line based on the values of fields, you'll need to provide more information about exactly what you want the subject line to be, and what the field names involved are.
