Hi, I have created a fillable form and want the user to fill in the form and send it to a client, but have the client not be able to edit the form data afterwards. I have read about javascripts, but do not have any experience with it.
Thanks,
Devon

Hi,
You don't need JavaScript for this objective.

Click File, Properties, click the Security tab. Select Password Security, and under Permission, set the Changes Allowed to filling in form fields & signing existing signature fields or whatever restrictions available from the drop down list.

My favorite quote - "Success is the ability to go from one failure to another with no loss of enthusiasm.

Hi,

I have simillar issue, but the difference is that I have bunch of fields in the form that have initialize and exit events and once the form is signed and fields are locked, the script still wants to get executed.
Is there a way how to flatten the PDF after signing, or better removing the script from that PDF?
I do have two fields that need to be filled with some value after user submits the document.
Thanks for advice
