Font size changeable using 8 Standard in interactive fields?

I'm filling out a pdf with interactive fields created by a federal court for formal filing in a lawsuit (with blanks for the parties' and lawyers' names, etc.). The text I enter in the fields is way, way too small and I'd never submit it this way (think 6 to 8-point fonts).

Before I give up on the interactive field option and print the blank form to be typed in on a typewriter, is there any way to change the fields so the text I type in them is bigger? So far I haven't found a way. I can't select the fields using the object tool, the typewriter tool is unresponsive over the fields, and the I-text cursor doesn't provide any formatting options, just cut, copy, paste, delete, select all and look-up.

Thanks.

Only if the creator set the text fields to be rich text. And since this form is being directed to the general public using products from version 4 on, I doubt that there would be any rich text fields since this was introduced in version 6. Even though it appears that this type of field could be used, prior version appear to ignore this property. But more importantly the creator does not want to have any possible user issue with field types for such a document.

Thanks. Guess the old-fashioned typewriter option is the only choice this go-around, and I'll have to point out the error to the court staff for next time.
