Hi everyone,

I am working on a form that is used by Acrobat 8.1.2 Pro users. I would like to make a javascript in this pdf form for saving it every 15 minutes automatically. There is a lot of information to input in it and we have lost the information few times.
Is there any way to do that or I'm losing my time?

Thanks everyone for your help!

Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

Hi yvezz,

I think it would be possible to use a JS timer function, but it is tricky and has to be used carefully. Another option would be to have each user simply set the auto save option in Acrobat so that a save is done every 15 minutes. That is under Edit ->Preferences in the General category labeled "Automatically save document changes to temporary file every "X" minutes.Hope this helps,
