Hi there,
I started using LifeCycle Designer 8.0 and I want to import and aggregate form data into an Excel sheet: I am using acrobat pro 8.0. The tutorial says:
--------
Collecting the data in a spreadsheet
You can use Acrobat Professional to consolidate the information from the returned files into a spreadsheet, such as Microsoft Excel.
1. Start Acrobat Professional and open the form you saved in the previous section.

2. Choose File > Form Data > Create Spreadsheet From Data Files.

3. Click Add Files and locate the XML file that you emailed.
-------
File > Form Data > Create Spreadsheet From Data Files' does not exist How do you do that in version 8.0
Also the data returned is in xml format. How can that go into Acr. Pro?
Thanks,
Chazz

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 8.1.2, Windows

To get the returned data back into Acrobat Pro:
1. Save the data to a location where you can easily find it.
2. Open the form you want the data imported into
3. Choose Forms>Manage Form Data>Import Data...

Thanks, I appreciate your help; that works fine. However, what I really want to do is to append the incomming data to a spreadsheet. Right now, I use the excel xml import facility. Does anybody know a better, more efficient way to do that?
