Form Fonts !

I have a pdf that I had successfully created a form fields in, using Arial Narrow and Arial Narrow Bold for the fonts. Now for some reason, the fonts are not showing up or they show up jumbled (over top of one another in the same place of just one character). The buttons with the same font don't show up at all either.

Used to be I could cut and paste my fields from one doc to a new document, but now it will only do one field at a time when I hit paste instead of pasting them all and it doesn't show up correctly in the Arial Narrow font. This has to be a font issue as I've just ported everything over to a new mac.

I have the same fonts open, but what do I need to do to get this to work? I've tried Arial TTF and Arial OTF. no luck with either.

This happens the same in both Acrobat 8 and in newly installed 9.

thanks

Hi,

in form fields you must use ONLY Times, Helvetica, Courier & Symbol.
(fonts that are at the top of the font menu)

I have been using arial narrow without any problems, the client has the same font on their end. However since upgrading to a new mac, I am not able to get the same files to work correctly anymore. The letters appear right on top of one another in the same character space.
