Hi,

I'm very new to Adobe and am struggling with creating one form in particular. I built a form in Excel, lots formula's and text fields and now I'd like to turn it into a dynamic pdf. That's the type that can adjust with the amount of text (wordwrap, multi line) right? Problem is that its 13 pages long and has a lot of complicated formulas. Is it possible to create such a complicated form? I've done small ones, like check requests with simple formulas but I'm feeling a little intimated. At this point I can't even figure out how to make the margin one inch all the way around. !! :( Looks like it is on screen but when I print it with a border, its off center.

Yes, a dynamic PDF is what you want. However, when dynamic PDFs get beyond 10 pages they start to slow down. So becareful about how dynamic you make the form. But yes, in theory you should not have any problems making a long very complex dynamic form.

margins are controlled through the master page. If there is a print problem, then there is probably an issue with the print settings.

Sounds like you need some LifeCycle training/consulting. Watch the esiminar videos and read the tutorials here. You'll find lots of biginner info on the internet.

Hi Thomp,

Thank you very much!! This form is way out of my capablities but now that I've heard from you, I'll keep moving forward (with a little less stress :) ). I definitely will work through the training programs.
