Hi, I created an invoice template that has individual fields that need to be secured while allowing others to remain fillable (e.g., credit card information). Is there a way to secure fields individually (i.e., quickly) after I have filled them in (e.g., "Amount Due") other than bringing up the properties window for each field and selecting "read only" (the "amount due" varies with each author). Thank you for your time!

Hi hmusgrove,

One alternative would be to create a form template with the read-only fields set and then import the form field data, save, and reset as necessary. This would elminate setting the read-only fields for each document that you send out.
There is a tutorial on how to do this from Donna Baker at:

Hope this helps,
Lori
