I've created two fillable forms from PDFs. Each has a "submit by e-mail" button. When I receive the submitted form, the data comes back to me in a format that I can't use. Is it possible for the form to be e-mailed back to me looking like the same PDF that it was created from? I need to be able to look at it and see the fields as they were filled in by the recipient, not a long list of bits and pieces of data.
I am assuming that you are using Acrobat 8 Professional.
Look at the Properties for the Submit by email button. One of the choices under properties should be "submit entire PDF form" or similar wording. Make sure that button is selected. Then save it with extended usage rights enabled.
Now, when the person fills out the form and presses the submit by email button, the entire form should be emailed back to you. BUT the email message to which the form is attached will not indicate that; it is poorly written and seems to indicate that it is only data attached.
But if you've done it correctly; the complete form with the filled out data should be there! I just did this this afternoon and it worked fine.
Hope this helps...

Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
