I was planing to upgrade from Acrobat Pro 8 to 9 and just an article that ver10 may be arriving soon. If I get 9 now does anyone know if there will be an allowance for getting 10 just a few weeks later, or is it worth waiting to just upgrade to 10?

We cannot provide any information on the release date or pricing for future software until officially announced by Adobe, however in general terms there is usually some allowance for customers who have purchased a product immediately before release to obtain an upgrade.
