I am relatively new to forms and not very familiar with scripting.
Due to lack of space my form has a list box that allows multiple selections. Each item has a value assigned that contributes (along with some other fields) to a total price. I have set it up using the basic sum calculation and it works, until I select more than one item from the list. Select one - it adds it in; select two - neither one gets added.
Is there a solution to this or am I trying to do something that isn't possible?
Thanks for your help!
Yes, it is possible to do that. There is an article on programming list fields and drop downs in the Learning Center here with a file for download so you can examine the code.

There is also a part two to this article you may find useful.
Since you are new to forms and scripting you may want to look over the scads of other articles and tuorials on using Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer for other topics you are interested in.
For a good on-line video training course in scripting for Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer PDF forms and documents check out www.pdfscripting.com.
Hope this helps,
