Is it possible to hide/delete the submit button after the button is selected and becomes a pdf attachment?

Essential the form is initially filled out internally and then sent on to a customer for completion. The customer doesn't need to see the submit button when they receive the form.

TIA,

Hide the button on a "Mouse Down" action, and execute the submitting script on a "Mouse Up" action...I put a display pop-up in the "Mouse Down" action that says something like "A copy of your form is being created, press Ok and wait for Outlook to open, blah,blah,blah..." so the user knows to wait for the email to be generated after the button disappears...

I had done that before and it never worked (i was also worried if the order of the commands matter - Up first then Down or vice versa?) I decided to try it out on a 'fresh' form and it worked, but when I re-opened the form, the button is there, but it doesn't work. When I check the button's properities, the actions were still there as well.
