I'd like to uninstall Acrobat Pro 10.1 and return to ver. 10 plain. There does not seem to be a 'maintenance' version of the Setup program which will do this.
 
Do I need to uninstall all of Acrobat and then reinstall? If so, do I need to deactivate first? Within the Adobe website when I search on 'deactivate Acrobat' I get a 404 error.

Yes, you need to un-install 10.1 then re-install 10. You don't need to deactivate first.
