How to write on forms downloaded from net

I have downloaded some forms from the internet. I am usin Acrobat 7.0 Professional. The only tools I got are the hand and photo. Where do I need to go to get the writting skills to fill out the form prior to printing? I am new with this program. Thank you.

What you downloaded my just be an image of a paper form and might not have any form fields. If the PDF is protected you will not be able to add form fields. If is not protected you can use Acrobat's Form Tool or LiveCycle Designer to add the necessary form fields.
