Issue - how do I compare two submitted forms for changes in content

Hi

I have searched the forum and haven't been able to find and answer to my issue.

Main issue:

We have applications that are submitted by staff for review and approval. 90% of the time amendments are required to the application before approval can be granted.

The applicant then revises the application and resubmits for final approval. But I do not know which fields they have changed (upon request and also 'just because') without manually comparing the two documents word for word to check for the requested amendments, which is very time consuming and I am sure there must be away to do this electronically.

Basically, what I am trying to determine is how to compare two documents submitted to determine what has changed from version 1 to version 2.

I would like to think the tracker has this ability but from what I an tell it just shows the next version of the form but does not hightlight fields have been changed.

Any ideas?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.2, Windows

Hi linda@curtin,

Have you tried using the "Compare" tool in Acrobat yet? Here is an article/tutorial on using the Compare feature-

Hope this helps,
