Link fields between multiple extended feature forms within a portfolio

I have mulitiple forms with some duplicate "tombstone" date such as names, addresses decision points etc.
I'd like to reduce pointless data entry.

While I can place all these within one document divided into seperate sections (Form A, Form B, C etc) and then bind the fields to autoreplicate it makes for an unwieldy document, especially when features are extended for users, which then eliminates bookmarks to allow users to move quickly to each section.

Far better would be to have these as seperate forms within a portfolio, where information put into one field would update all fields with the same fieldname in all documents.

Is this possible and how would I do it?

Many thanks.

See ,a href="http://blogs.adobe.com/formfeed/2010/07/shared_data_in_packages_part_1.php>Shared Data in Packages Part 1 and Shared Data in Packages Part 2 at FormFeed. This technique and code will only work with version 9 or better.

Too bad it can't deal with subforms and calculated data but it is a start. Thanks for the quick response George.
