Linking Text Fields

Since there are no leading (line spacing) properties for text fields, I can't get the filled in text to line up with the existing lines.

To line up with the existing lines I created multiple text fields.

Is there a way to link the text fields so that when typing in one it will continue on to another when reaching the end of the first?

I'm working in Acrobat 8 Pro

Have you tried the Properties Toolbar? You might get the spacing you are looking for there.

I am having a similar problem.

I have an application that needs to be made digital. Some of the questions require multiple line answers. I can not redesign the application so I need to create each line separately.

Is it possible to link multiple text fields so when one line is full it continues in the next field? I am only using Acrobat 7.

Thanks - Jon

I had one field that I needed to extend over two lines, but not the same length...creating a multiple field did not really solve my problem, since I still have to look and tab to the next field to get the text to look right.I'm not trying to compare products, but in a program like MS Publisher, you can link two or more text boxes so that as soon as the first one fills up, the text flows to the next one, and so on. Isn't there a similar function in Adobe Acrobat?

Thanks,

Richard

p.s. someone needs to look into the date registered situation...i didn't even own a computer in 1969!!
