Locking a form, but Savable in Reader?

I'm new to this fourm, so if somebody already asked this, I appologize but I couldn't find the answer.

If I were to lock a form, so changes could not be made to the layout, but users can still fill in the fields. I know that the user can use "Save As" to save the form if opened in Professional, but is there a way that when my form is opened with reader, the user can save the form?

Thanks.

If you are using Acrobat Professional you must be sure to Enable Usage Rights before your final save.

[Advanced > Enable Usage Rights in Adobe Reader]That should let them save the form with Reader.

Thanks for the reply.

After re-reading my initial post, I guess I wasn't clear enough. Is there a way that I can prevent the user from saving over the exisiting form and if they wanted to save a copy, they would have to save it under a different name? Basically, I want my form to be accessible, usable, and if necessary allow the user to save, but not onto the master form.

Thanks

Well; one way to do it might be with a button that says something like "save a copy" and then the action of the button would be to run a menu item and then make that action "file>save as>"This is as an Acroform; not live cycle....

See if that works...
