Greetings-

I just finished form and saved it as a reader extended form. Then when I opened the form in Adobe Reader the person has the option of save and save as. Is there an option to only allow the reader to choose "save as". I would like to prevent anyone from choosing "save" and having their completed form be there when the next person opens it up and expects the form to be blank. Then has to take the time to delete the persons completed fields....Hopefully that makes sense

Not within the PDF - permission to overwrite a file is an operating system decision, so the file cannot influence it.

You could set the original PDF, or the folder in which it's stored, to be read-only using the operating system tools. People could still try to overwrite the original copy but they'll get an error.
