PDF not render properly upon first open

Not hopeful that there is a fix for this, but I need to try.

On my organization's website, we have PDFs of our newsletters. For some reason, upon first open, the fonts and text are very distorted and render improperly. Once you refresh, or close and open again, everything looks fine.

The concern is that members will not know to refresh or reopen and just dismiss the document altogether.

Is there a fix, or reason, for this??

Thanks in advance!

Can you provide us a link to one of the affected documents so we can test?

The newsletter of particular concern is the July/August/September 2010 edition.

I just received word that when the window opens small things are distorted, and then when expanded things render properly.

Works OK here too, but it is a complex layered document and has accessibility tags, so it may be that Acrobat is taking a moment to work out what to do with it, especially if it's on a slower computer. Do you have assistive technology active on the computer that's showing the issue, or is it being reported from multiple users?

I'll try a few different platforms and see if I can make it happen, but so far it's rendering OK first time in Reader 9.3.3 and Acrobat 9.3.3 using IE, Firefox and Chrome.

It has been reported from a few of our employees internally. Some employees have slower computers, so I figured that was the issue.
