I'm using Adobe Acrobat v7 Professional that came with the Creative Suite that I purchased a few years ago.

I'm at work trying to bring a barcode (I created in BarCode Pro v6.11) into a pdf document made my someone else. The document is not secured.

Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Acrobat Pro 7.0, Macintosh

2D Barcode capability (as a new form field type) was plug-in that could be added to Acrobat 7 (see your member benefits on AcrobatUsers.com) and it is also built into Acrobat 8 Pro.

If you want to import a pre-exiting barcode image into a form, you can use the button form field. You can make button icons from any file format that Acrobat can display, including PDF, JPEG, GIF, and other image formats. For whichever format you select, the entire page is used, so if you want to use only a portion of a page as an icon, you need to crop the image or page before carrying out this procedure. The smallest allowable PDF page size is 1-by-1 inch (2.54-by-2.54 cm). If you want the icon to appear smaller than 1-by-1 inch, scale it to fit the size of the box drawn with the button tool. Clicking Advanced on the Options tab of the Button Properties dialog box lets you determine how a button icon is scaled to fit inside a button. -- Taken from Acrobat Help.
