I've read a number of posts here and none of them seem to speak to the root of the issue. I, like others, am trying to remove the blue background color that shades list boxes - not the highlight color. The blue background color prints gray and makes it terribly difficult to make out the text, not to mention that on copies and faxes, the etxt is almost impossible to decipher.
I'm familiar with changing the highlight color and have also tried changing the 'Fill Color' to None. Neither has worked.
Can anyone help me in resolving this issue? I've troved a number of sites and a great deal of Acrobat users are having this issue.
There are several different approaches you can take that don't involve using list boxes. Whether they're suitable depends on how many items you need and whether you need to be able to select multiple items. Do all of the items, whether selected or not, need to be displayed on the printed page?
