I run the field recognition from a converted word file. None of the check boxes are recognized as a field. I go to insert a check box and it's too big to fit in the small boxes.

How do I reduce the check box size that insert check box creates?
I'm also finding it very hard to move the boxes where I want them.
I.E. - aligned to a line.

Hi Erica,

As you have discovered, Form Field Recognition is not absolutely perfect but it usually gets you most of the way there (saves time). Now you just need some minor tweaking of the fields. To change the size of the checkbox, select it in edit mode then grab one of the edges and drag the box to the size you want. You can move the checkbox in small increments using the arrow keys on your keyboard to nudge it into place. It can also help to display a grid on the form (View ->Grid). You can change the grid settings if needed by going to Preferences ->Units and Guides, and selecting differnet settings there.Hope that helps,

That worked! I changed the grid line settings and now I can create the box sizes I want.
