New Acrobat form-maker here. Once a form has been filled out, is there a way to save it as a regular, noneditable PDF?
We have a form that will need to be filled out multiple times, and then we want to save all the form sheets in one PDF. We want the form fields to be deactivated so that the final data can't be changed. Saving all the filled-out forms as a package does combine them into one file, but all the forms are still editable.
The only solution that seems to do what we want is to save all the individual forms as JPGs and then pull them back into one PDF.
Does anyone have a more elegant solution?
Thanks! :)
Assemble the forms into your package.
Then; with the package on the screen, choose File>PropertiesLook at the Security Tab.
There, you can choose the level of security you want so that the package can't be edited. That should do it!
Hope this helps!!
Acrobat is probably the program I use most often and I'm learning more every day.
