Setting a default font when converting a pdf file to active version

Hi there,

I have just started with Acrobat 8 Professional and I need to convert a wodge of on-line pdf application forms into interactive versions. I would like to set a default font, Times New Roman 12, when I create fields. So far I can only do it one field at a time in the fields preferences. I have limited time to do this and I have had a quick look in the forums but nobody seems to have asked this before. That probably means it is fairly obvious but not to me.

I have tried running field recognition on these forms but it doesn’t work. I don’t know the provenance of the originals but I suspect the problem lies therein.

I have tried selecting all then applying the font but it only sticks on the field that my cursor is in at the time. Anybody got any ideas?

Many thanks
