Acrobat Uses the Windows MAPI service so that it's email client independent. You'll need to set Lotus Notes as your system default.

If anybody else is having the problem to change the default e-mail client then this is it(but i'm not sure for web based e-mail this is for windows installed e-mail programs).

To change your default e-mail client, open Internet Explorer
>select Tools
>select Internet Options
>select the Programs tab
>then change the E-mail default program the Internet uses this will also change what Acrobat uses.If you are using another web browser than go to the options page what default program your browser switches to when you click a mailto link

It works for me :-)

Thank you - that really was helpful for me. But what do you do if your users are using a web-based client like gmail?
