Can anyone tell me why, when I set the tab order manually in an Acrobat 9 Pro Extended form, grant extended features in Adobe Reader and then open it in Adobe Reader 8.1.2, the tab order has changed a bit? (including unlinking linked radio buttons)

Any help will be greatly appreciated. You folks are the best!

You have to be careful when you change the tab order in Acrobat 9's "form edit mode". There are several options, and they may mess up the tab order behind your back.

The best chance of proper behavior is with "Default tab order" setting.

Yes, it does help, thank you. First, it will keep me from having to spend any more time trying to figure out what's wrong. Second, my boss now knows we just have to live with it.

It's a shame it doesn't work well. If it did, the form would be perfect!
