Is there a character limit to the amount of text in the Tooltips for a check box?

When making a check box, I have filled in a few sentences for the Tooltips but when I listen to it via JAWS, the text seems to be repeated 2 and sometimes 3 times. Is there a reason for this? Thanks.

Do you see a correllation between the number of repetitions and the number of widgets of the checkbox/radiobutton?

Hi Max, can you elaborate what you mean by "number of widgets?" Do you mean number of text characters? Thanks.

Number of different fields with the same name.

Thanks try, I will go back and inspect each field again to make sure this is not the case.

Well, it's not necessary a problem. For example, if you have a radio-button group you would expect multiple widgets with the same field name. That's how a radio-button group works.
But what Max was saying (as far as I understood) was that because each widget (each button in the group) has the same tooltip text, your reader might be reading it multiple times.
