I am brand new to Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard. I have forms that are .pdf and there are two fields at the bottom of each page. On the left I want to put in my facility address and then have it repeat on each page. This I would like to save so I won't have to always be typing it in. On the right is another field, this one I want to be able to type in a patients name and data, have it repeat on each page and then be able to just type in the next person once I have printed the first form. The language is new and I have tried to be independent and find it myself but no luck and I do not know anyone else who knows how to use this program. Any help would be so greatly appreciated!! Lori

Create the fields you want on the first page and give them the value you want. You can lock the address field to make sure it doesn't change. Then right-click them using the Object Select tool and select Duplicate. This will create duplicates of said fields on one or more pages.

Thank you, that gives me a jumping point. I am assuming the process is the same if the field is already there. These are forms already built by a company but I am allow to edit these two fields to fit our needs. I will give it a try. Appreciate the help!! :) Lori

Yes, it will work with existing fields as well, unless they were created in LiveCycle instead of in Acrobat.

I don't know the origin but do not think that it was LiveCycle as I know of others that have done this but they are no longer around to assist me. I really do appreciate the help as I need to get these forms sent out in the next week. Thanks again. Lori
