View Cursor Coordinates, Acrobat 9 Pro in XP

It appears that Adobe has done away with the fields Information Panel in Acrobat 9 and that "View Cursor Coordinates" is the replacement. Correct or incorrect?
When I turn on View Cursor Coordinates, it appears until I either increase my zoom level or go to another page in my fillable pdf. I relied HEAVILY on the Information Panel to precisely size and position fields in my fillable pdfs. I feel like someone has cut off my fingers, am VERY lost and frustrated as I haven't yet found an Information Panel in my new Acrobat 9 and Cursor Coordinates are not in view when I need them most.
Help?

My Product Information:
Acrobat Pro 9.0, Windows

Thank you, but I already know that. My main point in my original post is that the cursor coordinates are not always visible; they disappear when I zoom up or go to another page.

Hey slzamora, I have the exact same problem here but I am on Vista so I don't think it's Windows version dependant. Did you find a solution to the problem ?

FWIW, the crazy coordinates display behavior was retained for Acrobat 10. I never really used it myself and instead use the rulers and the guides that you can drag from either ruler. Fields will gently snap-to them when a field boundary is close to one, and you can have any number of them displayed.
