I am having the darn'est of problems.
I though I knew what I was doing, as having a good 8 years experience of Acrobat from Version 3 up to Version 7 Professional.
FYI: for this experiment, I am using Acrobat Pro version 6.0.6.
(My office associates have versions 6, 7 and 8; and, most employees in the company should be using Reader 7, possibly version 8).
At the request of another department's engineer, I have taken a previously generated PDF and added form fields to it, and saved the file as a new PDF.
However, whenever the file is open from Adobe Reader or within a browser - we have the Adobe Reader web server add-on enabled - the form is edittable and printable, but cannot be saved to any other copy of itself which would include the form data.
I have even tried adding a Submit "radio" button which should export the entire PDF form & data to another file location, but for some reason this will not work.
Any suggestions?
