I have been trying to create a form in Acrobat and I am having issues. I have converted my Word document to a PDF form and I have been inserting text boxes and drop down menues to allow the form to be edited. Form some reason on one of the pages when I try to add any type of field (drop down or text) and if I scroll up and down with my mouse lines that were created in the Word document disappear and my formating goes away on the document. Does anyone know how to stop this from occuring? The first page of the form was able to be created with no issue but only the second page of the form is doing this.

the boxes you created on acrobat are probably bigger than the word boxes and they overlap the lines

There are two pages of tables. The lines that disappear are at the bottom of the second page. I used the automatic field detector and it did insert some fields but when I add another one, regardless of where I place it on the page, the lines on the table in the bottom left of the page disappear. In the end half of the last table has lines and half of it doesn't. The lines also only disappear after I place the field and then scroll or save the document. It is very frustrating. I used an older version of Acrobat previously and this never happened.

I'm having the same problem as new219.

I created To-Do list in Word, then printed it to a .pdf, and am making that into a fillable form. It is two pages long, divided by days of the week, with 12 numbered lines and a checkbox for each day (so you can type what you need to accomplish, and mark if it is completed).

However - when I try to add a checkbox (the form auto-create tried to make those text boxes), it deletes the numbers and the lines. They are not covered by the checkbox or any other field - they are gone. And it is not entirely predictable *which* set of numbers and lines will dissappear when I create a checkbox - but it is always the entire set for one day/category.

How do I fix this???

I've tried to search this problem on Google, but the *only* reference I've found so far is this post.
