Have anyone worked with Access to populate and retrieve data? I am using LiveCycle Designer and would love to get some examples of that.

Thanks you in advance!

Hello,

the process is quite complex and it won't be effective to discuss this over a long time in a forum.
It is better for you, you use an official manual with some sample files for testing.

For example you can find sample files for importing/exporting data to/from an Access database in the "PDF Forms Using Acrobat® and LiveCycle® Designer Bible" by Ted Padova and Angie Okamoto.
It's a huge book with a CD-ROM that covers many tasks around Acrobat and LiveCycle Designer.

oksana77,

I use Access and PDF forms in a unique way, I pass XML from form data using VBA. This is my "poor mans" version of a web/SQL server that our company won't spend the money on, so this is my solution.

My form structure is based on XML structure I push out from Access. When I first attempted this back in 07, no books around, just trial and error. I'm in the process of buying PDF Forms Using Acrobat® and LiveCycle® Designer Bible to see what I've missed all this time!

Good luck.

Hello,

I found a nice tutorial for a database connection in Stefan Camerons Blog.
This maybe a good point to start with.
