I created a new form from a PDF. The field is numeric. If I double click in the field, I see other text that I entered as a test when setting up the form. How do I stop this field from autofilling in the dummy text so the receive does not see this? Thanks.

You have to turn off auto complete for the Acrobat/Reader application by editing the application's Preferences. You turn it off for a given PDF with some JavaScript.

I found it in the Adobe Acrobat Professional version under Edit-Preferences-Forms-Auto Complete-Off. I thought it would be in the Designer application but it was not.

Is there a way to just clear the information that is stored without turning this feature off?

I have a form that the stored information is handy but there are times when the user needs to clear the saved data to make it easier for future data entry. Also can I disable auto-complete and saved data on specific fields?
