What can I do to get a value chosen in a dropdown field to go back into the field after it is exported then imported.

I have a dropdown field that when I select an item from the list will show up when I export the data from the form then come back a day or so later and import the data back into the form the dropdown is blank.

Is the value you are exporting the same as another value in the dropdown list?
If so it might come back as the first value in the list. Otherwise I cannot help, as my export and import of (different) values works perfectly, sorry.

Thanks for responding anyway. I figured I had left something out which was one of those obvious things like making sure that the Default Binding option is set to Normal and not None in the Object > Binding tab.
