Can't Save Data in PDF when Using LiveCycle with Master Pages
This question is Not Answered.
I created a form in Acrobat Pro 9 LiveCycle using multiple master pages of which only a few end up in the form. I save, exit form design and use the Advanced>Extend Rights in Adobe Reader to allow the form to be filled. The "Filling of Form Fields" security option is allowed in the document properties. I use Abobe Reader 9 and 10 to open and save the data typed in the document. The document has the purple banner that says "Please fill out the following form. You can save data typed into this form" . The "Save As" menu option is available. I type in the form, "save as" and then reopen the form. No typed data is displayed.

I created a second form deleting all unused master pages with the same result.

I created a similar form without using content on the master pages and I can save the data.

Any ideas how to make a form created using master pages writable with Adobe Reader?

As an update to the original post, I don't have any fillable fields in my body pages, just a label. I added a check box to the body page, saved and enabled rights. I opened in Reader 9.4.5 completed just the field in the master page but did not click the check box. I still can't save the fields in Adobe Reader. When I check that check box and complete some other field that is on the master page, I can now save the data the lives on the body page and the master page. So is there some way to enable saving when all the fillable fields are on the master page and none on the body page?
