In Adobe LiveCycle Designer 7.1, I've created a dataconnection to a SQL Server database with a typical SELECT query, and also have added (next) and (previous) buttons to navigate through the data set resulted.
However I fount that when I use PDF preview mode in LC Designer, the buttons do nothing! and only the first record is shown. It seems like there is no connectivity at all!!
But when I've upload that form to our server that runs Adobe Form Manager and Adobe LiveCycle Workflow and then access it through the web app., the buttons work perfectly!
Adobe LC Designer is installed on my PC where I used to design forms then upload them to the server so that I'm able to test all of the functionalities!
it's a long way and I really hope that PDF Preview mode shows me everything I need to test.
I googled that issue and I found that there's something called (Reader Extensions) that I should install on my PC to get the features I'm looking for
I installed it, but again! the buttons failed to do anything
I'm totally new to Adobe Forms world and really need someone to help me

You have to Reader Extend your form to do the testing in Adobe Reader or you need acrobat writer to be launched in your LC Designer PDF Preview.
