Designer Form caluclations (multiple pages)

In LiveCycle Designer 8, I have created a form based off an excel spreadsheet that I had "print-to-pdf'ed." The form has two pages. I would like to total items from both pages. When I try to use FormCalc on the second pages with variables from the first, it doesn't work. What can I do?
