extending the textfield automatically

Hi,
This is for LiveCycle Designer 8.

When the text in a text field exceeds the viewable area, it shows a + sign on the right bottom of the textfield when printed, indicating that there are more lines of text.

How do I prevent this from happening, so that at the time of the printing, it would print the entire content of the field resulting in extending the textfield as needed automatically. Thx

To not show the overflow indicator, you have two choices:
1) Limit the number of characters so the user can't input more than space allows.
2) Make the form dynamic. Make sure the field is in a flowable subform, and enable allow multiple lines in the Object palette.

Carl!
Thank you for your response. This made more questions than answers for me.
1- How do I make a form dynamic?
2- How do I make a field a flowable subform?
Thx

Ok Carl, please disregard my previous reply.
I was able to save the form as a Dynamic PDF 8, make the field expandable to fit, and multi-line.

The new issue is that when this field is expanded, it overlaps with the textfield below and mixes the input with that of the field below. How do I prevent this? Thx
